Why does Transport & Logistics Industry Skills Council collect personal information?

Transport & Logistics Industry Skills Council's primary function is to develop, manage, market and implement the nationally recognised training system for the Transport and Logistics Industry. In order to do this we are establishing a comprehensive contact database so that consultation can occur as widely as possible.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, the Skills Chain e Mail your details are added to this contact database. We may then, from time to time, contact you in relation to workshops, seminars, surveys etc.

We also collect data to provide broad advice to the government and industry. Data is combined and general statistics are generated. Individual information is not provided.

As Transport & Logistics Industry Skills Council produces several publications, we will also collect data to monitor the sales of these publications.
